Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking a Customer Assistant in our shop to deliver outstanding service and create memorable in-store experiences for customers across the week, including evenings and weekends.

You will use product knowledge and training to drive sales, keep stock replenished and shop standards high, and work flexibly across till, displays and general shop-keeping tasks to support the wider team.

Qualifications

• Basic IT literacy required.
• Strong communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inspirational customer service at every stage of the customer journey.
• Using your product knowledge and sales training to drive sales and increase profits for the Partnership.
• Put the customer at the heart of everything you do, understanding their needs and resolving queries.
• Work flexibly across the shop to support the wider team, including till support, stock replenishment, price ticketing and general shop-keeping tasks.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Help protect profits by supporting with accurate stock counts.
• Varied hours of Full time work (up to 37.5 hours per week) across seven days, including early starts, late finishes, evenings and weekends.
