Job summary

Sainsbury’s is seeking store colleagues to deliver friendly, helpful service across busy festive periods and beyond. You’ll assist customers, stock shelves, pick orders, and use digital tools to boost the shopping experience.

A positive team player attitude and flexibility to work across the store are essential for success. You’ll learn about our products and promotions, helping customers with confident recommendations while maintaining tidy, well-presented spaces and safe handling of stock.

Responsibilities

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that’s filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers
