Job summary

Portsmouth Water in Havant is seeking a Customer Services Advisor to handle inbound inquiries via phone, email, letter, customer portal, and live chat, providing accurate data entry and timely responses. You will resolve issues at first contact and help maintain customer tariffs and records.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong communication, multitasking ability, and experience in a busy call-center or customer-facing role.

Qualifications

• BPSS pre-employment checks required, with potential security vetting.

Responsibilities

• Use CRM system to process inbound customer contact across channels.
• Resolve queries at first point of contact.
• Data entry accuracy for customer details and account changes.
• Process reporting such as credit lists and old bank details.
• Update customers on technician results and account changes.
• Manage tariffs including Social Tariff and WaterSure.
• Listen to customers and provide tailored solutions.
• Undertake administrative tasks.
