Job Description:

My client, a leading IT Solutions provider, is seeking to recruit a Desktop Support Engineer to join an expanding Customer Support team. This company has more than 10,000 employees worldwide and supports numerous large Enterprise Customers. The role requires:

  • Ownership, investigation, and resolution of customer technical issues, collaborating across teams and utilizing troubleshooting tools.
  • Participation in peer communities and sharing knowledge where appropriate.
  • Development of technical and professional skills through training and readiness programs.
  • Identification of potential product defects and escalation to contribute to Microsoft product improvements.
  • Fluency in English with effective communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical support or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 technology and Office deployment processes.
  • Proficiency with Office core applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher, InfoPath, Access) and their integration with platforms like Windows, SharePoint, OneDrive, and mobile devices.
  • Networking skills and familiarity with protocols such as FTP and HTTP are desirable.
  • Object-oriented programming experience.
  • Technical literacy and hands-on experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant Microsoft Technology Certifications.
