About the role

As a Customer Delivery Driver, you'll deliver quality Waitrose produce and Partner-led service directly to customers' doors. When not on deliveries, you'll support the shop team with tasks like stock replenishment and housekeeping, contributing to a friendly and efficient store environment. Applicants must be 18 or older due to the role's nature.

Key Responsibilities

• Start your day in-store, checking your delivery routes.
• Load and prepare your van for deliveries, ensuring all orders are ready for efficient delivery.
• Complete vehicle safety checks, maintaining road compliance, health, and safety standards.
• Represent the Waitrose brand with excellent customer service on the road.
• Assist customers with shopping and build rapport based on trust and service.
• Support the shop team with general tasks as needed.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Valid B-Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good time management skills.
• Physical ability to lift crates and move cages.
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and adaptable.
• IT literacy.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Previous driving experience, especially with chilled vehicles.
