Job summary

Sainsbury’s is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps with energy, warmth and care. You will be the face of the brand at every delivery, ensuring orders arrive in great condition and on time while upholding safety and service standards.

• Must be 18+ and hold a full UK driving licence for 12 months with no more than 6 points
• Right to Work in the UK is required
• Online driving risk assessment as part of interview
• AI cameras in cab for safety and compliance

Responsibilities

• Face of Sainsbury’s at doorstep deliveries with friendly service
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to deliver groceries on time
• Check van roadworthiness, cleanliness and that orders are secure before departure
• Follow planned routes and drive safely across varied locations and conditions
• Move containers up to 15kg and assist customers at delivery points
• Respond to customer queries and delays and communicate changes
