Job summary

Tesco is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to bring groceries to customers’ homes across the UK. You’ll be on the road, providing helpful service and ensuring orders arrive in excellent condition.

Great customer service is essential as you work independently with support from managers when needed. Pay starts at £14.18 per hour and rises to £15.45 in M25 stores, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and options for 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Keep your van, trays, and work area clean, tidy, and organised so every customer receives their shopping in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness and reliability.
• Explain order changes, substitutions, or short-dated items to customers in a friendly, reassuring way and offer refunds when needed.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot and provide warm, natural service at the doorstep.
