Job summary

Tesco is hiring Customer Delivery Drivers to meet customers in their homes and provide great service with a smile.

The role is hands‑on, physical and varied; you’ll work independently most days, with a supportive team back at base when needed.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores, with a minimum of 16 hours per week guaranteed and roles from 12 hours available. Flexible working and a range of colleague benefits are on offer.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months.
• Excellent customer service and communication with customers at their homes.
• Able to work independently with a flexible approach to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays and work area clean and organised for safe deliveries.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes to customers and process refunds when needed.
• Handle products with care and deliver within the customer's time slot.
• Provide warm, natural service at the doorstep and leave customers satisfied.
