Job summary

Tesco is recruiting Customer Delivery Drivers to bring groceries to customers’ homes. The role combines driving with service, offering flexible shifts and a minimum 16 hours per week. You’ll meet customers, deliver with care, and maintain a positive, friendly demeanor on the doorstep.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores, with some locations offering additional payments. A valid UK driving licence is required, with up to 3 penalty points.

Qualifications

• Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Customer Delivery Driver role combines driving with customer service.
• Minimum 16 hours per week guaranteed, with some roles from 12 hours.
• Able to work shifts flexibly.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver orders to customers' homes safely.
• Keep van and equipment clean and organized.
• Explain order changes, substitutions, or out-of-date items politely.
• Ensure items are delivered within the stated time window.
• Provide warm, friendly service at the doorstep.
