Job summary

Tesco Retail is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to represent the brand on the road and deliver groceries to customers’ homes. You’ll be hands-on, organized, and able to work independently with support from managers and colleagues as needed.

Starting pay is £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in stores within the M25, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and some roles as low as 12 hours. A valid UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driving licence for at least 12 months.
• Excellent customer service and communication with customers at their doorstep.
• Able to manage time and routes effectively to meet delivery windows.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the customer’s time slot.
• Load the van safely and keep it organized and roadworthy.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and trust.
• Provide warm, friendly service at the doorstep and resolve issues as needed.
