Job summary

Tesco is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to bring groceries to customers’ homes with a friendly, reliable service. You will work with a small team, loading and delivering orders, and ensuring high standards of care and safety on every run.

You’ll be part of a flexible workforce with shifts to suit different hours, including weekends, and you’ll enjoy staff benefits and ongoing support from managers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Strong customer service and friendly communication when interacting with customers.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive, flexible approach to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Keep the van, trays and work area clean, tidy and organised for each delivery.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes or substitutions clearly and handle refunds when needed.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot and provide warm, doorstep service.
• Treat products with care to protect quality and customer trust.
