Job summary

Tesco PLC is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in the United Kingdom. You will be the face of Tesco on the road, delivering shopping to customers with a smile and ensuring orders arrive in perfect condition.

You will load, drive, and unload, using a friendly approach to explain substitutions and changes while maintaining high service standards and working within a flexible shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication when engaging with customers.
• Able to work independently with a flexible schedule and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep the van, trays and workspace clean, tidy and organised to deliver perfect condition orders.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness and reliability.
• Explain order changes or substitutions to customers and handle refunds when needed.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot with warm, natural doorstep service.
