Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver for Hemsworth Superstore to deliver groceries to customers’ homes. You will load, check, and drive the van, ensuring safety and quality on every order while offering friendly service.

The role requires a valid driving licence and a warm, reliable approach to customers and colleagues. Roles include guaranteed hours (minimum 16 per week) with flexible shift patterns, and a benefits package typical of Tesco roles.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week; shifts from 12 hours available.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays and work area clean, tidy and organised for every delivery.
• Load the van safely and complete checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes or substitutions to customers and process refunds when needed.
• Deliver orders within the promised time slot and provide warm, natural doorstep service.
