Job summary

Tesco Group is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to represent Tesco on the road and deliver great service with a smile. You will meet customers in their homes, handle orders with care, and work independently with support from managers and base teams.

Paid hourly, with minimum weekly hours guaranteed and shifts offering variety. A valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence is required, and applicants should be comfortable with flexible working arrangements and delivering in line with customer time slots.

Qualifications

• Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months

Responsibilities

• Delivering orders within the customer’s time slot, with warm, natural service at the doorstep
• Loading the van safely and completing checks to ensure roadworthiness
• Telling customers about order changes, substitutions, or short-dated items and processing refunds as needed
• Handling products with care to maintain quality and customer trust
• Building strong relationships with colleagues to create great team spirit
• Being warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues
• Responding quickly to changing customer needs on the road and in store
