Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring groceries to customers' homes. This role is about more than driving; it’s about delivering great service with a smile and ensuring orders arrive in perfect condition. You’ll work flexibly with a guaranteed minimum of hours.

A valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months is required, with no more than 3 penalty points. Benefits include holiday entitlement, colleague discounts, wellbeing services and a competitive pension.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and a friendly, professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays and work area clean, tidy and organised so every customer receives their shopping in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and complete checks to ensure it’s roadworthy and reliable.
• Explain order changes, substitutions or short‑dated items to customers, offering refunds where needed to keep the experience smooth.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot, providing warm, natural service at the doorstep.
