Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd in Skelton-in-Cleveland is inviting applications for a part-time Customer Delivery Driver. You will play a vital role in delivering groceries and other products right to customers' front doors, helping to ensure a smooth and friendly shopping experience.

You'll load your van, keep it tidy, and support the team during busy periods by picking and packing online orders. A valid UK driving licence and a cheerful, customer-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to customers' front doors with a smile.
• Load van and ensure it's clean and road-ready.
• Assist with picking and packing online orders during busy times.
• Support store team as needed.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
