Asda Stores Ltd is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver in Byker. This part-time, permanent role involves delivering groceries to customers’ doors and keeping the van clean and ready for the next run.

You’ll join a busy store team, with shifts in the afternoons and the flexibility to work additional hours on weekends/evenings. A valid UK licence and customer-friendly approach are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Load and drive the delivery van to customers’ homes or business addresses.
• Deliver orders accurately and with a smile, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Support the store team by loading/unloading, packing, and assisting on busy shifts.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile.

When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
