Job summary

Asda is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in Sittingbourne to join our store team. You will deliver groceries to customers’ doors, load and unload the van, and keep the vehicle clean for the next run. You’ll also help the team with online orders and maintain a strong customer-centered approach.

You’ll need a valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) with up to 6 penalty points, good communication, and a flexible mindset to work days, weekends and evenings in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload the van and deliver to customers' fronts doors with a smile.
• Keep the van clean and well maintained for the next delivery.
• Assist the team when busy, including picking and packing online orders.
• Provide excellent service and represent Asda in a friendly, professional manner.

Whether you're loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
