Job summary

Asda is looking for a Customer Delivery Driver in Telford New on a part-time, fixed-term basis. You will deliver groceries to customers with a smile, load your van, and keep it clean for the next run. Training will be provided, with scope to support the team during busy times.

You should hold a UK driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, have good customer service skills, and be flexible to work afternoons and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver goods to customers' homes.
• Maintain van cleanliness and readiness for next delivery.

Whether you're loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to your front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
