Job summary

Asda Stores in Colne is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver for part-time, permanent employment. You will load your van, deliver orders to customers’ doors, and help with online orders when needed. The role requires a valid UK driving licence and a flexible approach to shifts including weekends.

You'll work around 20 hours per week, with training provided and opportunities to support the team during peak times while keeping a high standard of customer service.

At Asda, we want you to find your everything. As a Customer Delivery Driver in our store team, you'll be at the heart of the customer experience-serving with heart at pride. Whether you're loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.

What you’ll bring:

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• A friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings - no two days are the same.

Must be able to work a variety of shift patterns, from 6am and 10pm.
