Job summary

Asda is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in Totton/Southampton to join our store team on a part-time, permanent basis. The role involves loading and delivering orders to customers, keeping the van tidy, and supporting the team with online orders. You’ll work days with shifts that include weekends and evenings.

You must hold a UK driving licence (full or automatic) for 12+ months with up to 6 points, and demonstrate friendly customer service, teamwork, and reliability. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver orders to customers' homes with a smile.
• Keep the van clean and ready for the next delivery.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
