Job summary

ASDA is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in Hatfield on a permanent part-time basis. You will work 32.5 hours per week with afternoon shifts, delivering groceries to customers and loading the van as required.

You'll be part of a team focused on friendly service, reliability, and efficiency. The role includes delivering to customers' doors and supporting online order picking during busy periods.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver to regular customers.
• Deliver products to customers' front doors with a smile.
• Keep van clean and ready for next delivery.
• Help the team with picking and packing online orders when busy.

Whether you're loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
