Job summary

ASDA is seeking a part-time Customer Delivery Driver for the Marina (Brighton) store. You will deliver groceries to customers’ front doors, load your van, and maintain vehicle cleanliness. You may help with online orders and team tasks during peak times. Role requires weekend/evening shifts at least weekly.

The position offers a friendly, fast-paced environment with training provided and a strong emphasis on customer service. 21 hours/week at £13.10 per hour with permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid UK driving licence (Full or Automatic) for 12+ months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver to customers' front doors in a timely manner.
• Assist with loading van and preparing orders as needed.
• Keep van clean and ready for next delivery; assist with online order packing when busy.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
