Job summary

ASDA is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in Cannock for part-time, permanent employment. You will load, drive and deliver groceries to customers’ doors, ensuring a friendly service and on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities include keeping the van clean, supporting the team with online orders, and providing excellent customer care in a fast-paced store environment. Training is provided and weekend/evening shifts are included.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings – no two days are the same.

Responsibilities

• Load the van and deliver to regular customers and new ones.
• Keep the van clean and ready for the next delivery.
• When busy, assist the team with picking and packing online orders.
• Deliver products to customers' front doors with a smile.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
