Job summary

ASDA in Totton (Southampton area) is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver for a permanent part-time role. You will load your van, deliver to regular customers, and ensure orders reach customers with a smile. The job is 16 hours per week with daytime shifts.

A valid UK driving licence and strong customer service skills are essential. Training will be provided, and you’ll help with online orders when needed.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Load the van and deliver orders to customers.
• Deliver groceries to regular customers with a smile.
• Keep the van clean and ready for the next delivery.
• Help the team with packing online orders when busy.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
