You will follow store policies, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, help with merchandising, stock, and stocktakes, and support the store team to maximise sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Create a friendly, welcoming and professional atmosphere for customers to shop in
• Greet customers, be approachable and thank them for their custom
• Spend time with customers, ensuring they have received help to make their purchase
• Provide a safe environment, adhering to Health And Safety policy
• Promote marketing initiatives such as upsell products or vouchers
• Work with store management to maximise sales and offer improvements
• Operate a till following company cash handling guidelines
• Read and adhere to all Company procedures
• Treat all team members courteously and professionally
• Keep staff areas clean, tidy and safe
• Help in training new team members on procedures and policies
• Merchandise and display stock according to Management instructions
• Minimise stock loss by being vigilant to suspicious activity
• Give feedback on customer product requests
• Keep displays fully stocked, neat, tidy and clean
• Maintain high merchandising standards to create a pleasant shopping and working experience
• Assist with unloading deliveries and stockroom maintenance
• Assist with stocktakes, possibly outside normal trading hours
• Undertake reasonable requests from management or company in line with business demand
