Job summary

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a Library and Neighbourhood Hubs Representative to provide excellent customer service across three posts in the Libraries and Neighbourhood Hubs service. The role requires motivation, organisation and good ICT skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The posts include varied hours, including evenings and weekends, and may be based at Dinnington, Maltby/Aston or other borough locations.

Qualifications

• You will need to be highly motivated, well-organised and a problem-solver.
• Proven track record of excellent communication and ICT skills.
• Ability to use your own initiative and work without direct supervision while being a good team member.
• Understanding of the Universal Offers set out by Libraries Connected and related service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an efficient and effective library and neighbourhood hub service with excellent customer care.
• Build and maintain partnerships within and outside the service.
• Participate in promotional and development activities and events for customers.
• Be flexible to work evenings and weekends and across locations as required.
