Job summary

Premier Foods is seeking a proactive Consumer Relations Coordinator to join our Central Technical team on a maternity cover contract. You will support the consumer care function, work with outsourced teams, and ensure enquiries and escalations are managed effectively.

Key responsibilities include administrative support, handling escalations, reporting, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive service improvements.

Qualifications

• Previous consumer care or customer relations experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data, producing clear reports.
• Food manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of allergens and food safety considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide admin support to the consumer care team including vouchers, invoices and system monitoring.
• Support the resolution of consumer escalations with guidance on complex cases.
• Handle escalated consumer calls and emails when standard processes fail.
• Produce and deliver accurate consumer care reporting for manufacturing sites, R&D and stakeholders.
• Provide cover for other Consumer Relations Coordinators during absences.
• Support key consumer care and supplier assurance projects.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery and continuous improvement.
