Job summary

PHS Besafe in Tipton is seeking a Customer Support Coordinator on a maternity cover basis, Monday to Thursday 09:00-17:00 and Friday 08:00-16:00. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service, supporting contract management, and acting as the link between customers, Sales and Operations.

You will build strong relationships, resolve queries efficiently, and contribute to customer retention in a fast-paced environment. Fixed term contract with competitive annual salary.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or customer care experience.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work methodically and logically.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with people at all levels.
• Confidence in learning and using new systems.
• Highly self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing customer queries, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Identify customer concerns and escalating issues, referring them to the appropriate team where required.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships to support retention and satisfaction.
• Develop a strong understanding of PHS Besafe products and services.
• Support the implementation and management of PDA barcode notices.
• Ensure customers and colleagues are kept informed of actions taken and next steps.
• Liaise closely with Besafe Operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Promote a proactive approach to resolving customer issues and enquiries.
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
• Produce reports and provide product information when required.
• Work effectively under pressure and meet agreed deadlines.
• Support systems and processes relating to installations and uplift activities.
• Carry out additional duties and projects as directed by management.
