Job description

We're looking for a Customer Care Agent to join the Auger Team, based at our Head Office in Wallasey, on a full or part-time basis.

Financials

  • Starting Salary - £12.21 per hour
  • Annual Bonus – approx. £2000 - £2500 (pro-rata'd accordingly if part time)
  • 5.5% Pension Contribution

Working Hours

  • Full Time – 37.5hrs per week, Mon-Fri.
  • Part Time – a minimum of 18 hours spread across a minimum of 3 days
  • Compressed working arrangement offered with full-time, improving work-life balance and giving you an additional 20 long weekends a year

Leave

  • 22 Days Annual Leave + 8 Bank Hol
  • AL increases to 25 days within 5 years' service

The Role

  • Provide excellent care & communication to customers contacting Auger
  • Handle incoming calls and emails promptly, answering simple queries related to our services
  • Actively listen to the customer's needs, and transfer them to a more appropriate team if further assistance is needed
  • Maintain clear records of incoming correspondence on our claim files

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, enabling you to convey information clearly and professionally
  • A capable multi-tasker, who can handle inbound phone calls, take notes and complete follow up actions, without compromising on quality
  • A passion for customer care and an empathetic approach

  • Ability to adapt your approach to suit different customer circumstances, and think quickly to resolve their problems calmly
