Job summary

A leading leisure company in Morecambe is seeking a Customer Assistant who will provide exceptional service to customers and maintain high standards throughout the Club. Responsibilities include building customer relationships, assisting with various tasks from front of house to kitchen duties, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Applicants must be over 18 and have experience in hospitality or retail. This position offers a supportive environment encouraging professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Experience in delivering first class, personalised customer service in face-to-face roles, preferably in hospitality, retail, or leisure.
  • Outstanding communication skills adaptable to different situations.
  • Basic numeracy knowledge and experience of handling cash.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport and relationships with Customers.
  • Assist in various tasks across the Club including front of house and kitchen duties.
  • Support other duties as requested by the line manager.

Your Responsibilities as Part of Our Team
  • Build rapport and relationships with Customers
  • Be flexible on tasks across all areas of the Club from front of house, book sales, treasury, machines, the bar area and kitchen including, general housekeeping throughout the Club, checking the toilets and ensuring presentation is always to a high standard
  • Support with other duties as requested by the line manager
  • Ensuring you create a Safer Gambling Environment for all our Customers and Colleagues across all of our channels; online, in club and live
The Winning Combination We’re Looking For
  • Experience in delivering first class, personalised customer service in a face-to-face role, preferably in a hospitality, retail or leisure environment
  • Kitchen experience is preferred.
  • Outstanding communication skills that can be adapted to different situations when necessary
  • Experience of handling cash and basic numeracy knowledge
  • You are confident at challenging the way things are done and can make sure all Customers follow our company policies and standards
