Job summary

Argos in the UK is seeking a Customer Advisor to help customers in stores, on tills, at collection counters and online orders. You’ll deliver friendly service, assist with payments, refunds and provide information on our financial service offers.

You’ll build product knowledge, support in the stockroom when busy, and work as part of a high-energy team across varied shifts. The role includes flexible hours, training, and opportunities to learn new skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service on tills, online order collection, and in-store interactions.
• Assist customers with payments, refunds and information on financial services.
• Be proactive in learning products, services and promotions to aid recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure our customers have a great shopping experience by delivering excellent customer service on the tills, website screens on the shopfloor and at the collection counter
• Collect products from the stock area for customers, take payments, provide details on our financial service offerings for certain products and process refunds
• Be present on the shop floor helping customers with questions and provide advice on a wide range of products – supporting in the stock room when the store is quiet
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
