Job summary

RH Commercials in Northampton is offering a 3-year Parts & Trade Supplier Apprenticeship Programme to become a qualified Parts Advisor. You'll gain on-the-job training and formal qualifications while working in a busy automotive environment.

You will help customers find parts, provide quotes, process sales, and learn stock control as part of a supportive team with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above) in English and Maths.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Interest in vehicles, trucks or the automotive industry.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good attention to detail and basic IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find and order the right vehicle parts.
• Provide quotes and answer customer enquiries.
• Process sales, payments and returns.
• Prepare parts for workshop repairs.

Hours

40 hours per week

Rotating shifts:

• Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm
• Week 2: Monday to Friday, 12:30pm to 9:00pm
• 1 in 2 Saturday mornings (paid at overtime rate)

What You'll Do

You'll be part of a busy team, learning how to:

• Help customers find and order the right vehicle parts

• Process sales, payments and returns

• Carry out stock checks
• Work closely with service and workshop teams
