Job summary

B&Q Inverness is hiring a Customer Advisor on a permanent full-time basis. You’ll work 36.75 hours per week across a shift pattern from early morning to late evening, including weekends and bank holidays, delivering friendly, knowledgeable service to customers.

You’ll learn product knowledge, stock management, and display setup, with training in paint-mixing and timber cutting to enhance customer support. A strong team ethos and customer focus are essential.

UK Notional hourly rate £13.37per hour (Inclusive of an £0.27 per hour, store specific location allowance)

What's the job?

Join our team, and you’ll become an expert advisor. An inspiration as well as a guide. The person who gets to know every customer and their home improvement projects. Sales will be important, of course, as will things like managing stock, setting up displays, and making sure your store looks great. You’ll have the opportunity to be trained in paint-mixing and cutting timber, but truly great customer service will be your main aim.

Happy to help, eager to learn and just a little bit obsessed with home improvement, you’ll be right at home with us. You’re friendly and outgoing, and you get a buzz from helping others.
