Job Details
  • Position: Customer Account Advisor (12 Month FTC)
  • Location: Office based at Scanlans Property Management, Manchester - Carvers Warehouse, Suite 2b, 77 Dale Street, M1 2HG
  • Working Hours: 09:00 – 17:00 Monday – Friday
  • Salary: Competitive
About Scanlans Property Management

We are dedicated to property management, serving residents, leaseholders, managing agents, and investors for over 25 years across the Midlands and North West. Our team of professional property managers are fully trained and qualified Members of the TPI and Assoc RICS.

Role Responsibilities
  • Managing collections, credit control, and maintaining sales ledger accounts for a portfolio.
  • Reporting on aged debt and major issues to management.
  • Resolving disputes and queries with internal teams.
  • Communicating with debtors via phone and email to chase payments.
  • Preparing reminder letters, statements, and coordinating with solicitors.
  • Arranging payment plans for accounts in arrears.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in credit control and customer service.
  • Interest or knowledge in property management (service charge/rent).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Word & Excel.
  • Resilient, target-driven, well-organized.
  • Team player with strong work ethics.
