Job summary

YMCA Norfolk is seeking an experienced education professional to join the E-Learning Service as Curriculum and Learning Lead. The role focuses on leading teaching quality, curriculum delivery and student progress, in collaboration with the Principal and Deputy Principal, to deliver high-quality online education.

The post requires experience in curriculum leadership, strong understanding of teaching and learning, and the ability to use data to monitor performance and drive improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience of curriculum leadership in secondary education settings.
• Strong teaching, learning, assessment and student progress expertise.
• Ability to use data to monitor performance and drive improvement.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused with ability to manage competing priorities.
• IT proficiency with experience of using or administering a VLE.
• Knowledge of curriculum development, quality assurance, Alternative Provision and SEND advantageous.
• Teaching qualification with QTS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the quality of teaching, learning and curriculum across the E-Learning Service.
• Support curriculum planning, quality assurance and teacher development.
• Work with schools, commissioners, families and stakeholders to improve educational outcomes.
• Champion continuous improvement within the E-Learning Service.
