Job summary

Barnsley College is seeking a Course Leader in Childcare & Health to drive the Level 2 Childcare provision and deliver Level 3 T Level teaching. You will lead curriculum development, ensure high teaching standards and support learner progression within a thriving team.

The post is permanent, full-time (37 hours per week) with salary between £36,578 and £42,391 per annum and a starting salary at the bottom of the scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Level 2 Childcare provision, overseeing planning, coordination and development.
• Deliver high quality teaching on Level 3 T Level programmes.
• Monitor learner performance, attendance, retention and achievement, with strategies to improve outcomes.
• Provide strong curriculum leadership while delivering engaging classroom sessions.
• Collaborate with colleagues, employers and external partners to create progression opportunities.
