Job summary

Barnsley College is seeking an ambitious Course Leader for Childcare and Health to drive the next stage of our curriculum. You will lead Level 2 Childcare provision while delivering high-quality teaching on Level 3 T Levels, ensuring an exceptional educational experience and progression opportunities for learners.

You will provide curriculum leadership, oversee planning and development, and teach Level 3 T Levels.

Qualifications

• Ambitious and passionate Course Leader
• Lead and develop Level 2 Childcare provision
• Deliver high-quality teaching on Level 3 T Level programmes
• Contribute to curriculum development and learner progression

Responsibilities

• Provide effective curriculum leadership for Level 2 Childcare provision, overseeing planning, coordination and development.
• Teach on Level 3 T Level provision, delivering engaging and industry-relevant learning.
• Monitor learner performance, attendance, retention and achievement; support positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues, employers and external partners to create progression opportunities.
