Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team to excel, while driving restaurant performance and delivering exceptional results.

What You Bring:

  • A focus on creating a caring, listened-to environment, celebrating successes, nurturing talent, and role modeling coaching within the management team.
  • Dedication to ensuring an excellent guest experience, with dishes prepared to high standards and equipped team members with necessary skills and mindset.
  • Experience in maintaining impeccable food, health, and safety standards, understanding financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • A commitment to building a coaching culture, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and development, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • A proactive problem solver, capable of quick thinking and decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading a kitchen team, driving performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with genuine conversations that ensure team support and understanding.
  • Experience maintaining high standards in food, health, safety, and financial performance, including GP and stock control.
  • Ability to manage labor costs and adapt to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams to thrive.
  • Passion for creating an inclusive, respectful environment.
  • Ability to think quickly and solve problems proactively.
