Job summary

Stark is seeking a Metering Technician for on-site work in Coventry to install, test and maintain metering equipment across customer sites. The role requires authorisation for single and three-phase metering and ideally CT metering experience. You will ensure high safety and quality standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Applicants should have City & Guilds NVQ level 232 or equivalent, strong IT skills, and a clean driving license; willing to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Authorised to install single and three phase metering installations.
• Experience with LVCT metering is preferred.
• CT metering experience is a plus.
• Good IT skills and a clean driving license.
• City & Guilds certificate or NVQ required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, remove and replace all metering equipment on site.
• Commission all types of metering equipment.
• Test and verify LV metering equipment.
• Operate LV system for metering activities per procedures.
• Undertake complex tests and inspections on installations.
• Remote testing of metering equipment.
• Investigate high consumption issues and resolve queries.
• Ensure safety and quality standards in all work.
• Organise people and co-ordinate resources on site.
• Provide technical explanations to team and customers.
