Job summary

Stark Group is seeking a skilled metering technician to join the Stark Connect team across the UK. The role covers install, commissioning, testing and maintenance of LV metering equipment, with focus on accuracy, safety and customer service.

The candidate should hold Comcop and DNO authorisations, be trained in single and three-phase meter installation, and be willing to travel and work away from home as needed. City & Guilds 232 NVQ or equivalent required.

Qualifications

They will be trained, authorised and experienced in single and three phase meter installation and LVCT metering.
Hold relevant Comcop authorisations and DNO metering authorisations where applicable.
Experience with Half Hourly, AMR and SMETS metering would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, remove and replace all types of metering equipment.
Commission all types of metering equipment and test LV metering systems.
Operate LV systems for metering activities following established procedures.
Undertake complex tests and inspections on installations and remote testing where required.
Investigate high consumption issues and resolve customer queries.
Ensure safety and quality standards and coordinate resources on site.
Provide technical explanations to the team and customers.
