Job summary

HarscoEnvironmental is seeking a Reliability Engineer to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement across steel production and environmental systems.

You will lead root cause analyses, develop corrective actions, and work with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to enhance asset performance, safety, and compliance. 30-40% travel to Mexico is expected.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have strong RCA knowledge and proven reliability engineering experience.
• Experience with predictive and preventive maintenance is preferred.
• Exposure to cross-site coordination and continuous improvement programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cross-Site Coordination: connect sites, build relationships with maintenance supervisors, and share best practices.
• Technical Oversight & Reliability Engineering: identify gaps, lead RCA, and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Maintenance Strategy & Standards: develop standardized preventive maintenance and life-cycle insights across assets.
• Documentation: maintain reliability records, failure history, and PM standards.
