Job summary

Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) seeks a senior programme leader to head the ISSC2 transition for a cross-government transformation. You will drive complex exit activities with multiple partners, providing senior-level insight and challenge to deliver a unified end-to-end programme.

You will identify opportunities to break down silos, manage interdependencies and ensure BAU integration, with a strong focus on governance, risk mitigation and team development.

Qualifications

• Experience leading supplier management or transition on the ISSC2 Agreement (Lead criteria).
• Experience defining exit/transition scope, deliverables, timescales and contract management.
• Ability to integrate outputs into BAU and enable business change and benefits realization.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with supplier partners and senior stakeholders.
• Outstanding communicator capable of influencing at all levels in sensitive environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a complex programme of contract exit and transition with multiple partners and stakeholders.
• Provide insight, leadership and challenge to achieve outcomes.
• Unify competing workstreams, identify interdependencies and manage end-to-end programme view.
• Identify and manage stakeholder relationships across internal and external parties.
• Apply risk management methodologies and governance to transition planning and execution.
• Coach and develop the team; promote high performance and personal development.
