Job summary

DEFRA and the Home Office are seeking leadership for the ISSC2 transition, delivering a major cross-government transformation programme. You will lead complex exit and transition activities with multiple partners, provide high-level guidance and drive interdependencies to deliver end-to-end results.

Successful candidates will unify competing workstreams, manage stakeholder relationships, and use robust risk management to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading supplier management or transition for large cross-government programmes (ISSC2)
• Ability to coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders and partners
• Strong communication, negotiation and collaboration in sensitive environments
• Capability to identify and unify competing workstreams and manage interdependencies

Responsibilities

• Lead a complex programme of contract exit and transition with competing priorities across multiple partners and stakeholders
• Provide insight, leadership and challenge at all levels to achieve the programme outcomes
• Unify workstreams, spot opportunities and manage interdependencies to ensure end-to-end programme view
• Identify and manage stakeholder relationships across internal and external groups
• Apply appropriate methodologies to identify risks and issues with mitigation and escalation
• Drive governance, transition planning and delivery, setting effective delivery methodologies between programme phases
• Provide guidance and coaching to the team and promote performance and development
