Job summary

EMCOR UK is seeking a data centre and critical asset leader to join the Critical Environmental (CE) Management Team. You will lead site-based CE delivery, manage a multi-disciplinary team, and drive maintenance and uptime across assets, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

About the role

What you'll do:

• Operating as a member of the Critical Environmental (CE) Management Team, to lead and support site-based Data Centre and critical asset service delivery.
• 100% Uptime focus and business risk mitigation on managed sites and assets.
• Plan, implement and deliver contract operational plans through effective and Client focused management.
• Design and deliver continuous improvement projects and strategies across the Team.
• Manage and co-ordinate site-based CE team.
• Take responsibility for the delivery and achievement of commercial business targets and agreed profit margin.
• Provide monthly operational reports including budget performance against agreed targets to both Internal team and customer.
• Leadership, supervision and line management of mechanical and engineering areas including specialist contractors.
• Influence and encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing and best practice across entire CE Team.
• Regularly meet with the contract interface to communicate key contract issues in support of sustaining partnership values and the smooth running of the business.
• Ensure that all operations are undertaken with total adherence to legislative and site Health and safety regulations whilst actively demonstrating a positive behavioral safety approach at all points of contact.
• Deliver all the required outputs against the agreed KPIs whilst striving to improving performance beyond the baseline target.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities resulting from improved / changed maintenance techniques.
• Support contract management on the wider estate when business need requires
• Strong Mechanical and/or Electrical Knowledge & experience
• Relevant engineering qualification
• Working knowledge of Generators, Cooling systems and UPS systems
• Hold a valid UK driving license.
• Able to organize and manage own workload.
• Positive proactive attitude and can take ownership of the site.
• Project Management experience
• Aware of site critically and business uptime risks
• Good admin skills with Microsoft packages
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Working Hours: Week 1 Monday to Friday 07:45 to 16:30 (16:15 finish on Friday) Week 2 Monday to Thursday 07:45 to 16:30. Enjoy every other Friday off work (PAID)
