Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join the team in London, focusing on installing and maintaining plant and equipment, ensuring faults are swiftly rectified.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems in data centres and must be willing to work extended hours when required, with emphasis on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Excellent facilitation and communication skills at all levels.
• Experience or understanding of health and safety procedures, COSHH, Working at Heights, Risk Assessment, etc.

Responsibilities

• React to breakdown maintenance requests within the required SLA’s.
• Technical awareness of data centre operations and power, UPS, CPS, distribution, cooling systems.
• Repairs to modular UPS systems.
• Test and diagnose power quality issues using onsite power analysers.
• Maintain and update critical environment documentation and records.
• Provide emergency response standby and call out.
• Escalate urgent issues to the Technical Services Manager.
• Ensure completion of reactive helpdesk requests and monitor environmental conditions.
