Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Shift Electrical Technician in London responsible for the inspection, operation and maintenance of electrical assets within the Data Centre, focusing on reliability and adherence to CBRE/Client Day Electrical Technician processes.

You will work with Data Centre Shift teams to ensure safe operation, perform planned/reactive/corrective maintenance, and participate in QHSE activities and training.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance and repair experience, preferably in a critical environment.
• Electrical Authorised Person (HV & LV) desirable.
• Must have City & Guilds Electrical Installation Level 3.
• Proactive, IT and report writing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with client deadlines.
• Willingness to attend training, nights away may be required.
• Physical fitness and initiative.
• Smart, uniformed appearance.
• Ability to understand written and spoken instructions.
• Integrity, honesty and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Operate electrical systems in the Data Centre safely and efficiently.
• Provide concise technical reports and recommendations.
• Coordinate with Data Centre Shift teams and Sub Contractors.
• Ensure SOP/MOP/PTW compliance and change requests are followed.
• Report completed work orders and track critical spares.
• Attend trainings and site drills as requested.
