Job summary

CBRE Local UK seeks an Electrical Bias Engineer in Haywards Heath to install, maintain and upgrade plant and equipment in data centre environments. You will address faults promptly, adhere to safety protocols and support critical operations, including on-call standby.

The role requires hands-on electrical maintenance, understanding of UPS/HPAC systems, and a proactive approach to risk assessments and documentation.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience in data centres or critical environments.
• Knowledge of power quality, electrical systems and safety.
• Understanding of health & safety procedures and COSHH where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdown maintenance requests within the required SLA.
• Inspect and maintain plant and equipment; undertake upgrades and installs.
• Diagnose faults in UPS, CPS, distribution, and cooling systems.
• Prepare risk assessments and method statements for planned works.
• Keep accurate maintenance documentation and records up to date.
• Provide emergency response standby and on-call support.
