Rethink Mental Illness is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Support Worker at Field View Crisis House in Grimsby to help people navigate periods of mental health crisis and move toward greater independence and wellbeing.

As a key worker, you’ll build therapeutic relationships, support daily living tasks, complete assessments and risk planning, and work with mental health professionals to promote recovery, choice and person-centred care.

Competenze

• Experience supporting people with mental ill health or in social care settings (paid or voluntary).
• Understanding of recovery-focused practice and person-centred support.
• Experience of assessing needs, managing risk and developing support plans.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Acting as a Key Worker for allocated service users.
• Developing therapeutic relationships built on trust, respect and professional boundaries.
• Supporting people to develop independent living skills and manage daily living tasks.
