At Rethink Mental Illness, we believe that recovery is possible for everyone. We are looking for a compassionate, resilient and person-centred Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Field View Crisis House, helping people navigate periods of mental health crisis and move towards greater independence and wellbeing.
Field View is a small, recovery-focused crisis house providing short-term accommodation and support for adults experiencing mental health difficulties. With 4 crisis beds and 2 step-down beds, the service offers a safe, welcoming alternative to hospital admission and supports people transitioning back into the community.
Every day, you'll play a vital role in creating a therapeutic environment where people feel heard, supported and empowered to take positive steps forward.
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you'll work closely with individuals to help them build confidence, develop practical life skills and achieve their recovery goals. You'll provide both emotional and practical support during times of crisis while promoting choice, control and independence.
Working for Rethink Mental Illness means being part of an organisation that is committed to improving the lives of people severely affected by mental illness. You'll join a supportive team, receive ongoing training and development, and have the opportunity to make a genuine difference every day.
At Field View, no two days are the same. You'll support people at some of the most challenging times in their lives, helping them find hope, stability and a path forward. If you're passionate about recovery, committed to person-centred support and ready to make a lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you.
